However you arrive in Brussels, by air, train or public transport... Rue Souveraine is very  easily accessed.

The Midi Station is on the same metro line as « Porte de Namur ». In 15 minutes at most, you will catch the Thalys or Eurostar terminals from rue Souveraine.
The Central Station is 10 minutes away by bus (line 71, just around the corner from rue Souveraine), or 5 minutes by métro (with a change-over at « Arts-Loi »)
The Airport : Zaventem, Brussels main airport  is 30 minutes away by car, bus or taxi.  You can also catch the airport by train (Airport Cty Express)  from the Midi or the Central Stations. There is a train every 20 minutes, and  the journey takes about 20 minutes.
Subway : There are three forms of public transport in Brussels i.e. METRO, TRAM and BUS which are under the control of the STIB ( Société des Transports Intercommunaux de Bruxelles ).   They publish very useful guides ( in English ) on how to use the system. Tickets can be purchased at all major metro stations ( including our local station at Porte de Namur at the corner of Chaussée d'Ixelles and Toison d'Or).  Tickets prices range from 1,40 Euros for a single journey to 9,80 Euros for ten journeys and 3,80 Euros for a one day ticket ( the same tickets are valid for all forms of transport ).
Métro : Exit at « Porte de Namur »

Bus : lines  71 et 54, stop at « Place Fernand Cocq »
By car : From the Airport or North/South Brussels :  follow the direction « downtown » (« centre » or « centrum » in French and Dutch) until you reach « Arts-Loi ». Enter the tunnels on the small ring towards "Porte de Namur". Exit at « Porte de Namur » and drive up the Chaussée d'Ixelles (on your left). At the 3rd light, turn right in "rue de l'Arbre Bénit", then take the first on your left. You have arrived !
If you enter Brussels from the West, follow the "Downtown" signs until "Porte de Namur". Turn right and go up the Chaussée d'Ixelles (see above for the last leg of the itinerary).
